Default EEC reference on XLF / PSE?

I was wondering when one was to replace stock mufflers with a valve exhaust like DesignTek,, instead of the very expensive original PSE replacement, how can the difference be noticed during technical inspection?

Here in Belgium we would require the "EEC Approval certificate", which the DesignTek doesn't have. But I wonder if the original PSE exhaust has a number engraved on the exhaust at all?

Check Carnewal... Gert is always helpful if you've got questions http://www.carnewal.com/Exhaust#P96

I guess Gert might be able to help, but I assume (looking at his site) he only sells the genuine PSE, which is expensive. The GT would be great, but my wife wants the valve exhaust.

Maybe he can help indeed.
