Default Read current oil pressure from ODB? Race capture pro?

Hi,

I have a race capture pro that can pull data from CAN or ODB.

Is it possible to read current oil pressure from the ODB?

After HPDE session I would like to see what the pressure was.

Thanks

No, it's not possible. Not even with Durametric, let alone obdii.

The oil pressure sensor wires directly from the sensor to the gauge. I don't think the DME or even the instrument cluster module gets data from it.

You are correct, just had a look back through the wiring diagrams, direct from unit to cluster along with the level sensor into cluster

Ok, so seems like I can splice and pull a wire from the sensor directly to Race capture pro.

Would have to calibrate the voltage but that should be easy, just read the voltage and look at the stock gauge.
