Parts Society
I have recently purchased a coupe of parts for my (never ending) engine rebuild through a particular ebay seller at reasonable prices (for Porsche stuff) each time it came with Parts Society logos and website info. My experience is they seem to package stuff incredibly well, and for giggles I thought I would check out their website.
Having looked it seems like this would be a good resource for us 996 folks (and the others).

Very interesting. I think they are the same as "qualityporscheparts" on eBay! See this same engine listing on both sites.

I have bought from them and I was also impressed by the quality of their parts. Their packaging is unbelievably good, maybe even better than new parts!
I will definitely recommend them to others. I have bought many parts but not a used engine though so I would be very curious about their engines.

One great thing about it is they part out the whole car so you can actually see how the car looks like (usually crashed). It gives you more confidence when buying an engine because you could see the car was running (and crashed) as opposed to the engine blew up on its own.

I've bought things from them before can vouch for their service internationally. Postage wasn't cheap but the parts arrived in under a week. Guess I got what I paid for in a good way

I just got my car back yesterday with a new engine sourced from qualityporscheparts and so far so good. CS Motorsports near Milwaukee, WI did the work. Can't say enough good things about this shop. They installed the engine, new AOS and replaced both front radiators for $1,800, which IMO is very reasonable. Not to mention fitting me in with short notice.
Engine arrived in well put together crate and undamaged. $8k for a Porsche reman engine with 13,000 miles on it.
Engine runs and sounds much better than old engine. Seems to pull harder too.

I love these guys and see that there website prices seems to be slightly less as compared to their ebay prices. Just bought another small piece of carbon fiber for my car....the little bat wing at the bottom of the console.
