Default Ebay repair manuals

Has anyone purchased one of the inexpensive cd or download Porsche 911 manuals that are on Ebay for about $10. Are they legit? Worth having? Detailed enough to get something done?

Thanks
Myron

I have one coming in the mail. I will let you know what I get. If you are impatient, for $10, just pull the trigger.

I have them. They are Porsche manuals. Only annoying thing is that the PDFs aren't indexed so you have to scroll down to each section.

They may be the same manuals, but hopefully the cd or dvd that I bought is a little more user friendly.

If you’re just looking for factory service manuals don’t pay for them - direct message me. People selling other people’s copyrighted work isn’t cool.

I've got the Bentley 996 manual on the way from Amazon.
OK it's a few bucks but reviews extremely well and I'm happy to pay a reasonable cost for a good product.

I got mine today and it is indexed. Actually, it is very easy to search and use. Much better than the website referenced above and I searched the interwebs and found a lot of dead links to service manuals, hence the ebay route. I say go for it if the free offer doesn't pan out. In fact, i would like to compare the two to see if there is a quality difference between the ebay copy and what is being circulated for free.
