Default Brake line block off - Ideas?

I'm about to start suspension upgrades on my 03 996. I'm planning to put the car up on my 4 post lift and work on it as I have time over the winter. I'd like to rebuild my brake calipers while I am at it so all 4 will be off at the same time.

I know the thread size on the hard line fittings at the brake caliper and flex line is M10 x 1.0. I was thinking just get an M10x1.0 female brass cap then cut a little piece of rubber and drop in the bottom of it before installing on the hard line end. But I have not found a brass cap in that size when searching online.

Any other ideas or methods on how to block off the brake lines so they don't drip for a month?

Thanks in advance.

When I did mine, I used some cheap vacuum caps that I bought at autozone. Worked perfect.

something like this

That sounds easy.

I found these online, would have to ship from the UK. https://www.carbuildersolutions.com/...e-blanking-cap

You can also set a board against the brake pedal to hold it slightly depressed. That will keep fluid in the reservoir from draining out.

I once uses some silicone hose like few inches and just put in any screw on the other open end side.
