Meh, probably a wash. When you consider all time spent packing and shipping it over and over, time spent on the phone and internet sourcing new parts after people damage it, etc., I basically have a beat-up version of the tool sitting in my garage that I paid roughly $0 for. Better than a brand-new version for $300 IMO, but certainly not a golden investment opportunity

Part number for '02 996 C4 Transmission Mount?
Does anyone have the part number for the transmission mount? I went through the online parts book but that mount isn't listed (as least I couldn't find it)
@dporto Let me know availability on the tool. I've pulled the engine and tranny already as part of the engine replacement.
Besides the transmission mount, any other bushings I should replace as part of this engine swap?

You should do your engine mounts as well, if you haven't yet. I went with rss semi solid mounts.

- http://www.agatools.com/part/porsche...smission-mount - I recommend this one if you're DIY'ing it. It's a standard Lemfoerder mount but they machine a bevel on one side to make installation easier.
