Just wanted to make a quick post to say I joined the 996 club. I had been looking for the right car/deal for several weeks and pulled the trigger today. Traded my trusty 955TT and picked up this 996 in Louisville. Seems to be well sorted, but time will tell. Out with the old, in with the older

Nice - congratulations!

Looks to have lots of upgrades - can we see a shot of the front lights?

Thanks! Handful of small items to work out. Built in radar detector doesn't power up, L and R channels backwards on the aftermarket system, also need to search on here for the "fast flash" issue with these aftermarket lights. Here are some of the pics that they sent me before I drove an hour to look at it.

Not sure which wing, but the factory one does raise up and fit inside. Already decided I can't stand the headlights, so that project has been moved up for sure..

Kind of cool that the factory wing is still able to come up, haven't seen that before.

Congrats on the purchase.

if you need headlights, I have a pair of litronics for sale. One is missing the headlight washer piece, but they can be replaced with covers.

Congrats on the car. I'm a new owner myself as of last week.

Congrat's if you don't already have one fitted a good sports exhaust should be top of the new toys list for your new steed... to maximise the awesome roof down flat-six sound track

Hello and congrats on the new ride! I'm attaching two links that I think you'll find helpful. The first one is to our DIY tech articles on the 996 platform and the second one is for headlight covers to turn them into 997 style ones. Please let us know if you have any questions!
