The most common term for aftermarket LEDs that blink too quickly is "hyperflash." A resistor pack usually resolves the issue.

Pulling and re-seating one of the headlights seemed to resolve the hyperflash for now at least. Thanks!

BTW, as a new member of the club, you realize you gotta get ink, right? Here's what one 996 forum member did recently:



Also, let those Mk I headlights grow on you a bit before you try to cover them up. You just don't see a lot of those headlight covers. And there's a reason for that. Actually a couple of reasons.
