Sorry to hear. As others mentions, all of those can be replaced and glad you and loved ones are safe.

The flood damaged cars from HH are showing up on Copart. They don't look as bad as the ones that are smashed until you see those water lines and the extend of the damage.

I was in the market for a used Mustang earlier this year for a graduation gift for my son.
I found a nice looking one with low miles on the north side of Houston on Autotrader.
It had a clean CarFax.
There were several things that made me worry about that particular car.
One thing was the rusty seat rails and very VERY rusty seat springs.
According to the sales person, the carpet had been replaced due to being dirty.
The trunk liner and carpet was missing.
The fuse box had been replaced, and there were a couple of "minor" wiring issues.
They had a Porsche Boxster that they told me was not "up to their quality" and was going to be auctioned off.
They kept telling me it was fine, and that CarFax guaranteed it had not been flooded.

I couldn't leave fast enough.

It's possible that it wasn't technically "flooded", but it was sitting outside with the roof/body drains blocked up with debris. In this scenario all it takes is a good downpour and water starts to infiltrate the cabin. A couple good down pours or a nice all day soaking rain, well... It collects under the seats where many of the vital electronics are... I think you made a good choice
