I'm running a 235/40R18 - 285/35R18 combo on my slightly lowered daily driver. Easy to find tires in these sizes, and the the ratio of "stagger" is awfully close to OEM.

fronts are currently
235/35 ZR18
rears are currently
285/30R18
I want to purchase the HRZ III tires from tire rack but I don't see this tire available in the same front tire size as what I currently have.. Should I change the front tire size to something different? The car is a 2001 996 lowered 1 inch and has HRE wheels.

My '03 is lowered 1" with Techart Suspension.
I have 3 piece Cargraphic Wheels, 18x9 and 18x11.
The tires are:
235x40r 18 front
295x30r 18 rear
This is WOT coming up the esses at Watkins Glen
Not a lot of ground clearance, but is manageable if you are careful

My previous baby was lowered with coilovers for track wrk...I ran 245's and 295's (Hoosiers) but my fenders were rolled...something you might want to think about having done.....
No rubbing, no clearance issues........
For the street I ran MPSS, 235/285..... 8" fronts and 11" rears...no issues.....
