Default 3.4 accessories on a 3.6 long block??

Hypothetical investigation: If I had a 1999 C2 with a 3.4 blown engine and a 3.6 long block, complete out to the heads, but no intake, accessories, flywheel, etc., is it feasible to build up a complete 3.6 using only 3.4 parts as a donor? The goal would be to install into the car the 3.4 came out of, and have a running vehicle in the end.

The intakes are different, and also unless its a very early M96.03 3.6, so is the secondary air system. The wire harness is also different, as the 3.6 is vario- cam Plus, and the 3.4 is not.

Also, your 99 doesn't have the proper DME unit to actuate the Vario- cam Plus solenoids.

Stick with a 3.4
