Default Alright... something strange going on

When I open my cars top it will get half way open and then gravity takes over and it falls the rest way open and makes quite the thump. When I go to close it the rear lid opens the side flaps do their thing and then everything goes silent for about 7 seconds and then the top starts to close although I have to give it a little boost on the passenger side because it's getting caught. When the top gets about just over half way closed it seems to drop the rest of the way and then latches closed. Anyone with a cabrio experience this and are there any ideas on what to check first? Maybe something broke due to low fluid? It's almost like the motor for it is confused on the tops position.

if its hydraulic leak, try topping it off and then look for fluid coming out on the ground when you operate the top a few times

I usually open it in my garage but I haven't noticed anything on the floor. I will check tonight. I topped it off a couple weeks ago when it was acting odd. I will look to see if it's still full.

Did it take much fluid?
