Default Gold wheels! (Teaser..)

I got new wheels. These are my second set to fit over my brakes. The idea was to have gold centers like the bbs type wheels and 5 spokes like ruf's - to be a little different. I went all black with the last set as I wanted the wheels to not look too big as they are 19". But this time I thought what the heck, see what that bigger wheels look like (can always change colour later)

Unfortunately, one of the rims are leaking. Will have to wait till I get them fixed to mount for proper pictures. Impression is that they are too much 'bling' for me, but who knows maybe they'll grow on me?

if those were your only wheels, maybe too much but since you can do wheel de jour, keep em as is

Not gold, but finally got it out for pics. How much do the Fikse weigh? I shaved almost 5 lbs per wheel, going from 996 C4S wheels, to using my SSR GT3s as my new track wheels. I'm sure these are even lighter than the SSRs, but they'll be my dress shoes. :-)Name: IMG_5142.jpg

^ those look good! The 5 spoke design I'm hoping is easier to keep clean (although I like the purposeful look of slightly dirty wheels..)
Gold I think should look ok with Arena red... but one of my friends says it my car will have too many different colours.
I forgot to weigh them but know the tire weights so can figure it out. On my way to LA for a meeting this weekend so will have to wait till next weekend.

Took some quick pics this afternoon. Little bit too flashy for me is my first impression. It may grow on me though.

Off to the track again this weekend. Hopefully we have better weather than last time..

Honestly not really feeling the gold on arena red. Gunmetal would look a lot better if you decide to change colours.

Yes it is definitely more on the bling side, your earlier comment about too many colors is another factor too.

On the flip side if your going for the race car inspired look, then it for sure works!

I'm guessing you must have a decent number of wheels now? No harm in that.

I didn't have fitment issues with my fronts. It may have been my centers that gave better offset.

The 12" rears were too wide rubbing on a metal line(maybe oil line) in one of the real wheel wells. I had to rebuild rears into a 11 inch for perfect fitment for the centers I got. Could have gone 11.5" wide buy wanted to go down from a 315 to 295 rears.

There are part numbers stamped on the centers. Make sure you get them and verify offset with Bob Woodman or BBS Motorsport Atlanta..
