Trick To Get Around A "No Communication" Issue In 993 ECUs
Hi guys,
Just wanted to share this video we made for those instances where you cannot get communication to the 993's Engine Computer.
What happens is that sometimes the PST2, PIWIS or any other generic OBD2 scanner will say that "the system cannot be found" or something along those lines.
(This "trick" may seem like an obvious solution to some of you, but we still get this question A LOT!)

Hi George,
Do you have any tricks when using a 1997 DME in a 1996 993? I can communicate with the generic OBD2 scanner but not with the Hammer or Durametric. I was told by Todd K it's a coding issue between the two different years.
