Default 100k dollar TT

There was a thread here a while back...."Will there ever be a 100K dollar TT?" (the guy was looking for one).

That thread's gone....but, whoever started it, this made me think of it. Whoever was looking for one...here you go. (No. I don't have anything to do with this car).

Was expecting it to have 200K miles on the odo. Wonder what the story is with this one. Outliers are outliers for a reason.

Perhaps.

Then again, all the ones with similar mileage that are priced at $130K+ are just sitting.

Haven't followed the 993TT market for about 6 months, but a no-stories car with less than 40K miles would have been priced around $160-170. I can't imagine the market has tanked that much that fast.

Until they sell. When I was looking, I really got the impression from the dealers I talked with....."If I give a firm, cash offer....I can buy this car at just about anything I want".

this car may have a story....don't know.

I wouldn't say tanked, but it has softened considerably since 6 months ago, looks like.

There are plenty of sub-40K mile cars sitting at $150K+, and they seem to be do just that at those prices: sitting.

I think the run up maybe have peaked, and even come down a bit, but most prices are still at peak prices.

This car may have plenty of stories, but it's priced to move for sure

There's no "Buy It Now" price.

Only "make offer" or "Email Seller".

They won't sell this car without talking to the buyer first.

High end dealer, they had a really nice 930 I was looking at last year. Car looks fine.
I think 100k is the hammer price on a mid mile red 993tt today. Black or silver, probably 110-120k. The cars priced at 140-160 are all still fs.
Market softened a solid 20% +on all the air cooled turbos.

TT market has softened in the past 6-9 months.
The naturally aspirated wide body c2s and c4s
Has strengthened.....

Albeit, If that car is clean and checks out is a great price at 100k

Car has either been hit 7 ways till sunday or the dealer is leaving 10k plus on the table...and that hardly ever happens.

I'd want a rock solid PPI on this.

Red Car is a $150k Retail All Day if Original paint, Books, Records, Etc, no Stories.

I Think there is a Story here!

Repaint? Hit? Both? Etc.
Consigned with Motivated Seller looking for highest over asking Price with all the attention?
Using a good carfax & good pics?

AC Turbo market has Not Softened lately IMO, Ya a While back ,(Over a year they peaked) Very Nice Examples are still wanted.

People are Looking for the Perfect Example to their Taste, Many out there with paintwork mods & no records, books, Etc.

If the Car sold for a $100k, It was only worth $100k.
