Good miles but various things not 100%. Certainly an above average nice example but not best best. Has been on and off the market for quite awhile. The guys that will pay very top prices usually know the difference....but not always.

Above average? The car had paintwork on every panel Not to mention several non-original items, missing trim, etc.

A shame because with some interesting history and the mileage, it could have been a great collectible.

Yes Me&you...I was trying to be a little bit more delicate in my opinion.... I think you are on track with your thoughts....once some of the special interior trim items are gone they are pretty much gone forever....from what I have been told it has had paintwork.... a shame that a low mile example like that is not best best

I suppose you were being much more diplomatic. I guess I was just bothered by the fact that to many people, mileage is the be-all and end-all of condition and value when there can be so many other factors (but you know that!).

Point being, despite the low mileage and ownership history, the car was far from even being average, let alone "above".

Grumble grumble, caveat emptor, auction descriptions, and all that!
