Ronnie, I knew that I should sell because no time spent on driving, paranoia about garage situation, no fun anymore to keep a car like this and so much more, but deep in my Heart I whished that nobody would pay that price so could I pick it up again in the Spring, I said to the dealer to stay firm on the price because I have time and don't need money

just two days later I got that new that someone reserve the car and would pay almost the full price
Not to forget that my car was not first paint because of scratch caused from glasses happens the second owner

Should I be sad or Happy?

maybe I should pick this one up and ship it over?
with ship cost, Duty and sales taxes will cost at list 250.000 €
People over here pay Top euro for German cars

Wow, that's huge money. I had no idea duty and taxes would be that much but it is the EU. I only put about 1,100 miles a year on mine but it's kinda like my Rolex or TAG. Completely unnecessary but wonderful to own and, oh ya, way faster! Hopefully it'll be like a lost girlfriend and you'll move on.

I have a 1986 Carrera Coupe 3,2 too that I drive often and with no worry than the 993 TT who cause me headache Paranoia to use, that's why I sold it
As a DD I have a Mustang GT 2016
Oshkosh
the TT was 2 weeks there, but only 2 days on the internet, the new owner lives in North Germany
On monday I will look after for a 2008 997 TT manual T. I will drive it to know if fits me.
ciao
I guess the color play at least 50% for a buyer to jump in a deal and yellow is a stunning color in a 993 IMO and that's comming from a person who actually doesn't like yellow cars, except these ones.

In the other hand, at least you didn't lose the aicrooled ownership and have the 3.2L

I like the 997's however the PDK is not for me, at least that GEN is a bit slow for my taste, unlike the 991 version.

You would be more than crazy trying to drive such car down here in my city then.....

Keep us posted in whatever you get.

I don´t think anyone anticipated that the value of the 993 turbos would be where they are today 10 years ago. Crazy times.

Followed the prices on the 993 turbo in the link below. Stopped at 168 000 Euro at an action in Italy recently.

Ronnie, I had this strange feeling couple days ago, as I said in the Italian Forum, I felt like when I was a boy and lost my girlfriend because you know that it's doesn't work and you have to go through..........
Right now I' me busy looking for the next one, maybe a 997TT
or a 996 4S cabriolet?
ciao

You did well. It sounds like your intent is to buy a properly depreciated 997tt and/ or ? then enjoy that...which is great...as when any car becomes so valuable you don't/ can't/ afraid to add mileage on it/ run errands/ park it at a cafe/ and or simply use it as intended...why not sell it?- get something that gets back the feeling you had the first time you fired up your 993tt....and there are plenty of Porsches that do just that.

22% VAT! Wow. Check this out though.......a local guy paid around $300K for one of these with even lower mileage in 2009. I thought he was crazy....
