Talking New epic trip: 1500 km to the Red Bull Ring

Hello, hope you are still interested in my 993 GT ...

Just back from an epic trip to the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
About 1600 km roundtrip and 30 rounds of the wonderful F-1 circuit.

I really enjoyed the GT on this fast circuit and the car has been super reliable and stable.

My engine is 20 years old but still apparently pulls the 530 hp (or thereabout) that it had when new.

I was faster up the hill then a regular 997 turbo 480 hp and of the latest GT3 4.0, even a 991 Turbo S with 580 hp was giving me about 50 meters at the top, but I was getting back in the braking area.
Top speed before braking at the top of the hill: about 230 km/h.

Very nice fun, even if I am not a great driver.

Enjoy a few pictures.

Working hard to stay in the front, but I had to give up after one lap ...

Default Trip to Gmund

Just a quick update to revive this 3d with the last long trip we did in the fall.

From Tessin to Gmund and then Cortina d' Ampezzo in Italy and back.
Almost 1500 km under the pouring rain ...

Default Spring trip to Paul Richard Circuit

A week ago we have been again to an European trip with the Club Porsche-mania.

This time about 1200 km roundtrip to Paul Richard Circuit in South France.
We joined the Porsche France annual meeting and it was a beautiful experience on this F-1 circuit.

Once more the GT performed flawlessly and we did about 150 km on the track in one day.

The engine is still pulling strong as I was keeping up with the 991 GT3 on the long straights ... just the brakes are from another era ... may consider an upgrade to the 380 mm EVO disks with the 4 pot special calipers.

Enjoy a few pictures.

You could start an entire instagram with just pictures of everything about this car! It would cool to see the engine lid open and what's in the frunk
