Wheel Help/ Offset question
Can someone help me out here...Please.
I bought a set of Cargraphic wheels "racing Model", these are supposedly for the 993 turbo but the offsets the seller gives me are:
8.5 X 19 ET 40
11 x 19 ET 27
What tire size can I run on these these wheels? Car is lowered on PSS10's.
the rear offset seems to really stick out... Here is a picture

I've fit 11" et33 on 18 with 285's, I'm not sure you'd get 305s on those. Fronts pretty aggressive too
Maybe try remeasuring the offsets to confirm those numbers
And it would be more than 13 mm, you have to add the width of the wheel (or half of it) as et 40 are for 10" wheels
So compared with stock wheels, they would stick out 13+ 25.4mm/2= 25.7mm for 285 tires
And I think the 19" wheels the tires are more square too..

In other words 285 would be slightly my only option? I will get wheels and install without tires and see how much space I really have. Would suck to go below 295.... Then again there are worst things. Thanks for the help.

I can tell you for certain that 19" TechArt Formula wheels with ET 25 did NOT work on a 993 TT. The tires would not rotate because they were jammed against the fender. I could have rolled the fender, but decided not to do so. Could also change camber but was reluctant to play with it. I'd say you will have some challenges with the ET 27.

I had the same wheels and offset for my 996 C4s, the rear offset of 27 was too aggressive in my opinion. Whenever I hit a bump, the tires would scrap against the fender.
