Default n75/frequency valve attachment

Hi

A bit of a long shot, does anyone have a pic of the frequency valve attached to the engine or a pic of where it (and its little bracket) attaches. Putting various new parts on the engine (including a different frequency valve) which is in its final build up, and I've got brain fade as to which bit the stock N75 bracket used to attach to. PET diagram isn't clear and so I was hoping that someone had a pic.

I've seen pics here somewhere previously. If you don't find it or someone doesn't point you in the right direction, I can take a pick of my spare engine (that's on an engine stand when I get home from work - in about 10 hours..)

Hi

Some pics from your spare engine would be fantastic. Mine is also on a stand (part stripped), and just planning the final sensors and brackets.

best

well, it appears my valve/bracket is not attached so not sure if these pics would help. The air box must attach at the nut/bolt in the pic and the valve bracket must attach there somehow. I have some other pics of engines, I'll take a look to see if I can find a better pic.

this may help but I don't recall where I got the pic and it's not my engine so don't know if it's correct.

these are pics of my current engine when it was in the previous car. It looks like it does go on that bolt on the intake but there's a spacer..

No worries. A couple of whacks with a mini sledge'll straighten 'er right out.

Hi

thanks for the pics by the way, really useful. Have used them to fab up my new bracket. Will post pics of my engine set-up soon.
Sorry about the slow reply, work has been getting in the way of my Porsche projects. Looking forward to seeing your brakes fitted, I'm on the Brembo GT's at the moment but ceramics look much more fun.

^ you're welcome Steve, will look forward to your engine set up!

I'm looking forward to the brakes too - but the rear rotors are stuck in customs...
