Default Fabspeed 200 cell sport cat and muffler delete -

Hello -

Has anyone here tried this set-up?

Fabspeed 200 cell sport cats w/ muffler delete.

I have their muffler delete tips with the stock cat now, so it has the motorboat sound when the cats are cold. It's not bad, but I'm wondering if sport cats might fatten up the sound a little. I don't expect or am looking for performance gains as things are pretty good right now.

Anyone run with it?

Here is the only video I could find of the set-up.

Happy New Year!

Regards,

.

Correct. 200 cell cats and muffler delete is a great sound. Quadcammer runs this setup and I like it a lot.

I have the 200 cell and fister muffler combo and it is a bit softer but not by much.

This is the last turbo from Porsche that makes a decent exhaust sound. Water pumpers don't make this kind of sound anymore.

I've have FabSpeed spot cats, I think they're 200 cell, and the muffler bypasses for years and like it quote a bit. It's on the loud side, but that doesn't bother me.

Don't laugh, had iPhone strapped to rear bumper for this. It's my own muffler bypass elbows and no cats. Don't mind the idle that much, since it doesn't really just sit and idle. The turbos are my mufflers when they spool up :-)

Thanks guys,

Overboosted, thanks for the clips. Probably a little too loud for me at idle.

As a point of comparison - This is sort-of like a bigger version of the Fabspeeds since it does mix, but it's NO cats and modified mufflers, and 3" tubing all the way to the mufflers. I do not bypass the mufflers just yet because it would be too loud - but the mufflers are not even close to stock.

Cheers,

Mike
