I'll probably regret this forever...
Just posted my 97 TT for sale. Someone is coming to see it tomorrow but I'm having second thoughts. Maybe I should keep it? I hardly get a chance to drive it might as well sell it to a fellow enthusiast who will?

Good choice, keep it and drive it without the guilt of the additional mileage. Mileage will be less and less important as time goes on!
As much as selling crosses my mind with these crazy prices and minimal driving time, it's a bad idea! I know it, you know it, most of the guys on this forum know it. These cars are special and will become unobtainable unless your willing to pay 2x/3x + (for now) what you bought in to the club for. Unless I'm suddenly going broke and all my wife's stuff is sold and there is nothing left but the car and our family, then there will be a decision to be made...

Seeing all the support makes me feel good about keeping the car. Drove it for the first time in a few months definitely put a big smile on my face.
I just sold the RS4. I love the car but it seemed like it spent more time in the shop than on the road. And the money that went into repairs was way more than maintaining the TT. So now I have a lexus ISF as dd.

People are selling out there, not hard to find all kinds of examples to buy. While it sounds like the op made the right call to pull off the market, there are many sellers willing to take profits in this boom market. As long as the financial markets stay healthy, the 993tt will appreciate...As long as...

Seems lately every dealer; regardless of the condition, will start out at a selling price between $199K-$249K regardless of the car's shape and condition and even Mileage. Even if the car was driven every single day since the day it was bought and has had the belts serviced and an A/C charge, even all fluids - Oil - Transmission and braking fluid before selling the car! All dealer's should have integrity. Probably the most imperative things done when purchasing a new Twin Turbo (993) along of course with an independent PPI!
