I don't know anything about this car, but I was offered $165k for my car with similar miles from a dealer in the last 2 weeks. It is possible . . .

$165K. Not even close to what it would take to pry my TT from my cold dead hands. Not even close. And I just rolled over 19K miles.

Have emailed the pics to the 3 rennlisters so far. Jd hertz you sure seem to complain a lot and you are bringing nothing to this thread.

I realize it's the internet and you can say what you want but don't see the need for the negativity when the intent is clear I would like this car to go to an enthusiast. My dad has plenty of dough and if I don't get the 165k it will stay in his garage.

My feeling on this car is, it was his fathers well cared for car. He'd rather have a real enthusiast have the car than some guy who just has money, and wants a flip or investment only. To be in the position to offer it at a discount, for an RLer, as opposed to getting the absolute most for it, is nice. Wish I was that comfortable financially, I'd have all kinds of nice parts to throw on my car. :-)

$20,000 is a lot of cash, no matter how you look at it.

Thats true

But the car has been appreciating quickly and I would prefer a quick sale...probably won't even list on Ebay. I understand it raises red flags and that's why everyone who has called or emailed has been told to do a ppi. I do know we have owned the car the last 16 years and thats a good thing. I spent my first 31 years in NYC so I trust nobody.

fyi the closest dealer is porsche of ocala

I have no issue with you or your fathers car. My comment is based on your "threat" to list it on eBay! I have no doubt that you'll sell the car for your price. As a matter of fact I recently sold one of my TT's with double the miles for slightly less money. Most of these cars are selling through unadvertised sales to collectors so they are somewhat unverifiable.

Nice garage. Almost looks like a master bedroom with cars in it.

Hhhhmmmmm..... cars in the bedroom??.......that's a great idea.....i think i can fit 2 in mine as well.......I'll pitch it to the Mrs. when i get home.

Oh but on the negative side....if you care...arena looks blah in fluorescent lighting....need incandescent or at least halogen then she looks deep like Scarlet's dress from Gone with the Wind... amazing. Pay a photographer $500 bucks....will get you at least 5k.

UPDATE:........... wait a minute!!!!!!!! I just re-read one of your comments......you said:

"My dad has plenty of dough"......what???

.......that's a jerk comment..... daddy should have taught you humility. I think you should get the hell off this forum and shove that car up your A$$!!!!!

Car is sold...thanks to all who made positive comments. As for all the negative folks...I would suggest counseling and meditation or a combo of both.

Remember karma can be a nasty lady.
