recent Track Day Pics
I noticed a relative decrease in the number of posts after the discussions on the recent 'value' thread...
Just wanted to post something more upbeat
So here are some recent pics from track days this year.
Just went out for a test drive - these cars are made to be driven! - today, I changed my engine/transmission oils, stiffened the sway bars both front and rear, and just ordered a set of Nitto NT01's...

Baron that b&w wet track pic was taken by a gt3 driver from Seattle, but forgot his name, not sure if he's on reenlist. He took some great pics, that one is my current desk top!
The wheels are forgone ga3's, been pretty happy with them and they are little easier to clean than the LM's and Fiske FM10.
VIP - good to see you're getting to know her better! is that Western speedway? never been there - the track it self is an oval?

Yes it was at Western Speedway. You should come over some time for AutoX. I got 6 runs in. Tech from 8-9am, racing begins at 10am and goes until 2pm. It is an oval but the course used a harpin at the end of turn 1 and then came in the infield for a loop as well. 2nd gear for most of the course.

Which track are your pictures from and what kind of event was it?

Nice pics on Flickr !
The pics are from ridge Motorsports park in Shelton wa. Steve amg c63 in the pic comes out from Victoria for these events (I've lived in Victoria in and off, went to high school there and did internship at the jube) . It's a DE, three run groups, 20 mins each, so 7 or so runs. In the afternoon depending on the number of people remaining, the last couple of hours end up beng open sessions. It's a ?2 mile track with a 1/2mile front straight, my turbo can reach 240+kph. There's a number of groups that have track days there, I usually go with turn 2 lapping.

Was nice to meet you Rick (AiRick) at MRLS. It was a beautiful day and I am jealous that I wasn't able to get on the track also. Nice shots.
Ryojo, nice vid. When I first got on the track I had to consciously stop looking in my mirror. Once I did, I was way better since I kept my eyes forward and stopped worrying about people behind me.
