Default turbo rebuild

want to thank all on this board for help with my "broken car". So far I will need valves, rods and pistons. Hope to learn more this afternoon. It going to be expensive.

I am also going to have to rebuild the turbo's. It seems the choice for upgrade is k16/24 hybrid? What is the cost versus rebuilding as stock.

If I go to the upgraded turbo's what is improved over stock.

Are there any other turbo options that make sense?

I also heartily recommend Kevin at UMW, but I wonder if you have spoken to Todd Knighten of Protomotive to see what he says about your issues. Todd is also highly recommended.
