My god! I was looking at a different car at wilhoits, but there is zero mention of this horrid history in his description of the 14k mile turbo, that's nuts. All peace of mind just went out the window! That's not a scratch, this is a turbo that came back from the dead, or damn close to it.

Planning on keeping my car indefinitely and driving it so I'd like the values to drop back down. Keeping the insured value up is just another expense to me. I've lived through several car bubbles over the decades and I'm thinking there's more downside risk than upside at these prices.
