When I lived in San Diego I used Black Forest and was really happy. But that was over 10 years ago and I didn't have my 993tt back then.
If they are still around an ou are unfamiliar with them it's worth checking out.

Black Forest did a ppi on a vehicle for me 2 years ago and were very thorough. My impression was it's an old school shop familiar with the air-cooled makes but still servicing and on top of the newer makes. I wouldn't hesitate to take my cars there if I was in the area.
