Hey Ryojo,

I have this thread bookmarked now for quite some time. It's really great what you are doing. I for one would be interested in some of these parts and I think others would be too. Just a thought . Most importantly.. Keep up the good work .

Happy holidays

Viggo! thanx for the encouragement, there's probably a few more pieces I can make . Not sure if any of my stuff is good enough to sell and costs too much time wise to make any sense... having fun though

I'm stumped! I was first thinking air foils for your wiper arms but that's not it.

I haven't been happy with the various hood pin designs, the sparco ones I have work okay but because of the way I mounted it, the pin slides down over the hole if I'm not physically holding on to them when opening the hood, and have to hold onto them when closing. Others are overly complicated requiring large holes/sliding levers; simple pins with wires that connect to them to the body somewhere that flap in the wind didn't appeal to me either. I suppose I could have just used pins that I'd have to keep in my pocket when the hood's open - probably would have been okay...

I'm happy with the simple sliding mechanism but made the whole thing a little too big, and not sure I like the shape. Will make another version or cut these ones down a bit at some point (and would have to re-plastidip the hood if I make them too small since there are bare patches from under the previous units that would show ) but put these on now as they are functional.

couldn't leave it alone...
like the shape better and better size, except will have to redo the hood at some point.

don't just re-do the hood, you can make a carbon fiber hood.

The hood is already cf/fiberglass.. thinking of making the rear bumper out of cf though.

The Koenigsegg stuff is pretty cool. That resin impregnated cf and high temp capabilities are neat. Also thought about making exhaust pieces out of cf. Maybe just the tips first, need to see what the temp rating of the current resin I have is. hmm maybe my next piece will be cf exhaust tips. Wonder how hot exhaust tips get?
