Stock 993TT mufflers needed
Rufus, with the pleasantly loud, center exhaust, is likely moving to a Senior Park, where there are any number of old farts and noise restrictions. It looks like I'm going to have to quiet Rufus down, and I'll probably start with some used, stock 993TT mufflers if I can locate any. There is no major rush on this, but I'd like to have the mufflers in my hands so I can get FD Motorsports started on redoing the exhaust (still with a center exhaust).
If anyone has some used stock 993TT mufflers, please let me know. Help. Please.

My experience shows old people don't hear too well. Party on.

And I would include wives to this list of hearing challenged.

Rennlist rocks as usual. Widers911 is selling me a pair at a VERY reasonable price.
I rarely drive Rufus to the Senior Park, but I did last week, and someone reported me to the principal. I can understand not wanting loud cars or bikes at all hours of the night, but this was at 11am, and I was obeying the 15mph speed limit. Some old geezers just have nothing better to do. I had just finished signing my agreement to the rules, so I am totally screwed on this one. And... Rufus IS VERY loud! Sigh.

Steve are you going to have Darin modify these stock cans? B/c FD's are loud! I have them and they are very close to open pipes in decibels.
Think that's why his are so in vogue and everybody likes them. All the aftermarkets are just a touch louder than stock which is useless. Fabspeeds are loudest of all but they drone also useless except for track use.
Darin's are almost identical to Fab in decibels but the claim to Darin's fame is that his somehow miraculously do not drone but they are plenty loud.
Sorry to intrude; just a lil $02.

oh yeah and then there are these Fisters i posted before i think he dropped the price but still $$

Steve, to quiet my muffler by-pass to center exhaust, I put in line mufflers that sit up behind the bumper. That is another option.

Steve, how much of the original RUF exhaust do you still have? Why wouldn't you go back to that set up? While mine may be considered quiet, I love it. It is so different than any other 993 that I have been in - with a very mechanical noise. The Wevo engine mounts even made that better.
Just a thought. I cannot remember what you did to modify yours, besides making it center exhaust.
