Yeah - that was your first mistake - taking a drive. I had a 993C4 Cab and then drove a friends 993TT. That did it - I sold the cab and found a turbo.
If you really want to have fun, take the 20K you are saving due to the crappy economy - buyers market and upgrade the car you find with a RUF Turbo R kit.

No I want the real TT for any eventual re sale if I have to.
A few years ago I test drove an '89 Cab Turbo 911 and I feel in love with it, but it drove like a "druken sailor" with sudden spurts of sudden leathal exceleration(s). The '96TT by contrast was quite forgiving and gave plenty of warning that a hell was about to let loose.
