Default 993 street GT2 exhaust.

Anybody out there with 993 street GT2 or GT2CS factory exhaust info/specs and pic's would be appreciated.

Curious to know who those flaps at the end of the tail pipes work and why.

Thanks for the info, always thought the GT2 had a different exhaust than the factory turbo.

Cheers!

Just to chime in. Slightly unrelated. But Protomotive recently used my car to create jigs for production 993 TT custom exhaust systems. You can now order them. With or without mufflers. With or without resonators. With or without cats.

I was able to keep the heat exchanger system and still have real true flow in the exhaust system.

I wanna know how I can get on that list to let manufacturers make badass parts for my car. I'll let them practice and take the credit as long as they give me the final product to keep.

Protomotive's custom exhaust is great !! Espacially keeping the heat exchanger system is a very good option

They did a very good job. I like your exhaust system as well. Very nice car you have there.

Overboosted28 - it's been a long road getting here. The idea just kind of became a reality and chance. But it worked out well in the end. I've developed a very good relationship with the guys at Protomotive. As for the list... It's more like I, tacker, and Peter Middleton made the intercooler chiller system for blackhorseturbo's Protomotive car that was installed at Driver Source in Houston to attempt the 230 mph at the Texas mile. So it's back scratching here and there that's paved these roads.

We ended up getting 226 but hey, we all had fun and the car rolled waaaaay over 1000 Hp. I think we only got 226 because there was jittery feelings since it happened right after the massive wreck of KP Motorsports Camaro.

I've kind of taken a step back in the car world over the past few months getting my machine shop up and running. But nowhere has there been a free ride.

To the OP-apologies for the hijack. I will start a new thread about this exhaust system.
