Default GT3 RS: what are the 3 vents located on the front bumper for?

I noticed that many raced GT3's have 2 or 3 vents just in front of where the front bonnet meets the front bumper. The new GT3 RS also has 3 vents. Can someone forgive my ignorance and put me out of my misery?

There's another cooler on the GT2, GT3RS(race and roadtype)to keep the engine or brakes cool during hard use. Im sure someone else can give a more detailed explanation.

Air flow over the coolers inside the bumpers and sucked out from the air flowing over the top of the bumper and the hood.

I've heard it's an oil cooler.
