could never work out the little oil collection on top of the passenger side heat exchanger, upper and lower gaskets dry - well today after doing 300 miles in the past 4 yrs I thought appropriate to start dropping the engine and do a little housekeeping, guess what I found - my seaper, would never of thought as this power steering hose was replaced back on my original PPI, I guess the $700 hose didn't warrant new washers back then.

That power steering line collapsed on me under hard driving and man It bathed the entire engine bay with Pentosin. I do not wish that upon my worst enemy. Had to power wash that side with acid to get rid of it. Make sure everything is up to spec.

The intent was a engine reseal, all parts ordered and dropping the block tomorrow, may as well do the work while its undressed . Relief to find the source. Ill bore the forum with some photos along the way, mighty tempting to loose some weight and go 2wd.
