Default Pictures of Engine Rebuild

Finally got it back.. and runs perfectly!

They documented the process photographically and gave me the SD card.. thought many would like to see the tear down and rebuild...

Finally found the Photobucket way to best display without a "photo dump" of huge pictures..

Slide-Show 1 Engine Tear down and Rebuild

Slide Show-2 ENGINE Rebuild

I am the Arena Red Turbo at Midwest Eurosport..
I was wondering whose black 993TT was there!
I chose them to do the rebuild after asking Tony, "How many 9933TT have you rebuilt?" and his reply was "Many.. let you show you the one I am doing now!" ... Better than the response from another well regarded Chicagoland Porsche shop of "A FEW!"

Almost looks like someone had issues removing the muffler bracket and decided to go in there with a cutting torch to get through the heavy gauge steel.

I saw that pic or rather the weld/repair pic and wondered what was up too..
seemed to be on both sides
The allen bolt that attaches that bracket is not easy to get to, you have work beside the turbo inlet oil line if I remember correctly, ? someone cut it instead.
