Default boost guage reading .3 at idle

So I found something to fix I think on my 993TT.

When the car came, I noticed the boost gauge at .3 on the display while sitting idle in my garage. Sometimes however, its at 0.0 on idle so its intermittent.

When I'm driving it, and starting to boost, it climbs just fine. No issues at all there. So is there a part (boost regulator) or something I need to fix or is this typical to our cars?

Thanks!

Should have been caught in your PPI. The boost sensor & install should be sub $300.

They're about 170.00 bucks new. I have a used one that is in very good shape if you're interested. PM me.

Fairly easy to do. Mostly by brail if you do it with the intercooler on. It's tucked down behind the blower assembly on the front of motor at drivers side. If you pull the intercooler off you can see the top of it. Make sure keep all the small rubber fittings attached to all of the vacuum lines or you'll think your not getting boost and buy a sensor that you didn't need (hence the extra one that I now have). Lesson learned, not my first and sure it won't be my last. PM me if you need more info.
