Which makes me wonder why it isn't advertised on RL. It may have something to do with these nuggets from our current favorite thread over on the 993 forum...
Over the years I've made mental notes of a few idiosyncrasies of RL.
When buying a 993:
1. Everyone wants a perfect untouched car.
2. Everyone wants a perfect untouched stock car.
3. Everyone wants a perfect untouched stock car in a specific color only.
4. Everyone wants a perfect untouched stock car in a specific color only with a perfect Carfax.
5. Everyone wants a perfect untouched stock car in a specific color only with a perfect Carfax and 12 miles on it.
6. Everyone wants a perfect untouched stock car in a specific color only with a perfect Carfax and 12 miles on it with no paintwork.
7. Everyone wants a perfect untouched stock car in a specific color only with a perfect Carfax and 12 miles on it with no paintwork and perfect leak down results.
8. Everyone wants a perfect untouched stock car in a specific color only with a perfect Carfax and 12 miles on it with no paintwork and perfect leak down results and awesome PPI results.
When selling their 993:
1. Forget numbers 1-12.
2. Carfax sucks, they lie.
3. All 993's leak oil.
4. They never came with the engine tray.
5. Paintwork does not affect value.
6. Mods are your friend.
Ok I'm done...
Add:
9. Everyone wants a perfect untouched stock car in a specific color only with a perfect Carfax and 12 miles on it with no paintwork and perfect leak down results and awesome PPI results for under $10K.
(Which is why I'd pretty much rather drive either of mine over a cliff or into a wall, rather than sell them in today's world. Cuz you know that if the sales price were ~$10K, some clown would hold me at fault for there being even a rock chip.)

Not exactly sure what nuggets and thread you are talking about? Does seem really weird that it is not posted over here. I will say though, there is ALOT of money on 6speed.

The quotes stand by themselves so I guess I should not have referenced the other thread. I just thought they were interesting observations. I was wondering why such a phenomenal car would be advertised on the other sites but not RL, especially knowing the owner is a RL member. I’m purely speculating but it may have something to do with some of the embedded truths in the comical quotes.

thanks...
My apologize for not replying sooner... we all know RL is the epicenter for all things Porsche online.... such an amazing board. That said I want my FS thread here to be right ...... my pics are pretty rough, taken with iphone etc... I am meeting with someone next week that has much better equipment and then hope to post here on RL a full detailed FS thread with some much better quality pics...
Thanks for your patience all... painful decision to sell that is for certain!
any yes hoping the Negheads stay clear....
