My 993 Turbo is gone
Well after almost 7 years of ownership and many life changes (growing family, sold business, took off 2 years, moved to bigger house, renovated house, started new business) my 993 Turbo has gone to a new home in Ottawa. New owner picked her up today. It was time to move on. I am looking for a 996 turbo to drive as daily driver/winter car/track car. I am in no rush. I plan to be back in couple years hopefully with a 3.8 turbo, wide body that I can thrash at the track. In the meantime I have my 951 with cupcar suspension to fulfill my track needs. Quite frankly I barely drove the 993 turbo the last 2 years spending most of my time with the kids or building the business.
I have loved being part of the 993 turbo rennlist community and have learned a lot from you guys and met some great people. I feel like this board is the best one on rennlist (not that it is a competition of course), and I still will contribute from time to time.
Obviously I loved my car and it is funny how emotional we can be about our cars but at the end of the day they are just cars, and certainly not the most important things in life...but these cars are a lot of fun and get the blood flowing.
So anyone with a widebody conversion that you may want to sell in couple years, please take good care of it for me
and yes I do realize that I will regret selling.
Thank you 993turbo rennlist guys for the camaraderie

aaahhh...this is major....Turbodan's turbo is gone? I'm kinda new (only a year here) but benefited from your posts.
Tough decisions, braver man than me, poignant words...almost moving...you sure these are just cars? Best of luck and sincere thanks!

Dan, congrats on your sale. There is a minty black/black, low mileage, with X50 package 996 Turbo for sale at MotorCars International in Springfield, MO. Less than 9,000 miles. Asking $64.5K

Congrats on sale Danny. Sorry to see you leave the 993tt fold particularly since it was you that steered me away from an F355 to the 993tt......and what great advice it was. Maybe we can do some joint shopping. I'm looking for a DD/autocross/track ***** as well but having trouble deciding what to get - 996tt, 993NA, 968, 964 RSA? So many choices, so little time.

Congrats Danny! Interesting that it ended up in Ottawa, I guess I will get to see it in the end even if its not in my Garage.
