For standard coupes, no X50 package:

In 1996, we had 1190 to the US, and 106 to Canada
In 1997, we had 739 to the US, and 38 to Canada (I have one of those 38 ... )

For the ones with the X50 package:

In 1996 we had 0 come to the US/Canada
In 1997 we had 11 come to the US, none to Canada

In 1997 we had 182 Turbo S's brought to the US, 2 to Canada

These are numbers published in the new Turbo book from Berlin Motor Books.
