Brass shavings on dip stick - speculations?

Blackstone in part might mention it because I mentioned it to them in my notes. I was running 91/100 mix. I had recently had a little higher ratio towards the unleaded 100 mix. We don't have 93 in California. I was running it for shear giggles. There is a nice wiggle route that has a station with 100 sunoco CA blend. (Hwy 84 - woodside Kings 76)

For what it's worth, I too saw this same thing on my white rag after checking the dipstick. Had a similar sinking feeling. I was due an oil change and Rob @ S-Car-Go said that he'd take a look inside the filters to be sure but mentioned the somewhat common dipstick rub. The cut open filter was clean and I've not worried about it since. He gave it a good bill of health.
