I think dyno numbers for these turbos are very abstract. they are air cooled motors that need the air flow to keep IATs down and I think that its hard to replicate the cooling 100mph creates with a couple fans in a shop. 3 or 4 pulls on dyno heat soak sets in and ecu retards it. Those were the actual numbers that the dyno's produced. I was really concerned with the AFR's and wanted to make sure I wasnt running to lean or rich through the revs.
That said, I have not found a car on the track that my car does not pull on including Gallardos, Scuderias, Nissan GTR's, GT3 Cups. The C6 Z06 is the only car on track that I've encountered that will run even on the straights.

Stock internals, K24's, AWE Straight Pipes. ECU was supposed to be tuned for 490hp 500+ lb/ft. - but the the mustang dyno said 285hp. The previous time I had it dynoed it with K16's and turbo S ecu (said to be 424hp) The highest number I saw was 320hp.

A lot of pulling/catching people on the straights is a result of carrying speed through the preceeding turn which comes with experience, skill and confidence. At track days like the one in the video - those factors come at very disparate levels.
