Just startled and saddened to hear of the passing of UK Rennlister Jon Lang, known here as JBL930. Jon built a monster 930, starting with tuning the stock 930 K Jetronic and achieving mixed results and eventually ending up with an RS tuning modified 993 engine shoehorned into the 930. His enthusiasm and commitment were quite something to behold.

RIP Jon - you've left us much too soon.

i didnt know jon, ive only spoke to him on here a couple of times seemed like a nice guy.do you know what happened? like you said he wasnt that old.

^^ I'm with Mark, Felix - any additional info? I spoke to Jon a couple of times when I was in London. Sold him a couple of parts too when I was leaving. Sad.

Jon had many talents - have a look at http://www.kigi.co.uk/ I sent him an email just last night to catch up on things and to ask for advice on a bespoke door - and today I learn he's gone.

I only found out yesterday! I've been away from 911's for the past 4 years Even so this news hit me hard - so sad. What a lovely guy Jon was.
