I've been thinking about trying to talk to this guy and going to look at it.

I like projects... I could de-darth it, and remove all the audio/visual pimp my ride stereo crap. Probably sell that stuff right back on ebay.

A few curious points, if the car reall is in Bloomington, that is quite the haul to have it "maintained" at midwest euro sport... why the full repaint?

Somebody want to run the vin and see what the orginal color was?

Default darth

Would be interested to see vin record as well.

He also seems to have a few other "darthed up" rides for sale in his other listings. Bad taste is pricey.....

"Never before has a Turbo Porsche sported AWD, or a 6-speed box. Never before has the car had two turbochargers."

Nobody told him about the 959.

ad says bloomingdale (not bloomington) which is a nearby suburb. happened to see the car once in person when i was at midwest with my TT. interesting look to say the least.

That's what I thought, most of it could be reversed, and get rid of the big tail. Guy spends $$$ on his cars.

Yes, it would cost a pretty penny to put it back.

Really don't know why...but I almost spat my scotch; I haven't heard/seen anyone use the word 'heinous' in a fair bit.

Made me laugh.
