Onami - I appreciate your positive outlook. You obviously know what you're about. I saw one of your last 993s and it looked nice. Ii look forward to hearing all about your next car when you get it.

Thanks Bergamasco...at least you "get" me . I've seen your car also and it is a beauty! I made an offer on a gorgeous arena red cab with black sport seats last night to use in the interim but I was 30 minutes behind another fellow who the seller promised to hold the car for while he thought about it overnight. Got the call this morning that he was taking it....back to the drawing board

And when you make the conscious decision to purchase a 993 Turbo, you've gotta have all your ducks in a row (money, funds, cash o la, PPI), and be ready to pounce. So few cars available. Indecision of a 1/2 day or a couple days may cause you to lose out on the car to another more prepared buyer.

Mark, you gotta be ready to pounce, like I said. But, you have not even decided if you want a coupe or a cab, a Turbo of an NA. Just to name a few.

I normally own 2 fun cars at a time and have done so for the past 20 years or so...Cars come and go in my household and I buy whatever I like at that moment in time. I doubt that will ever change...

Same here Mark. I love cars, plain and simple. So many cars I want to experience before my time to go.
Unfortunately I'm not wealthy (enough) to store my cars and keep buying new ones. So if I buy 1, I have to sell 1.

I'm not loaded either Tony, but my wife is very understanding . If I buy them right I can usually get most of my money back (goal is to not lose more than the taxes I paid). I took a big hit on my c2s, so that was a little painful. However I got all of my money back on the c2.

GM had 1100 orders left to fill for 2012 when they realized that they could only build 600 more cars. So they cancelled the other 500 orders and returned our deposits - I was one of the 500. So now I have a personalized license plate "ZEE L1" and no car to put it on! They offered me a 2013, but would not commit to an early build. That was a classless move in my opinion and it cost them a sale.

Not until July 15th. I left a vim asking that he call me when he gets in

I remember stopping by to look at a zr1 vette in my 997tt, the sales guy was beyond arrogant bc I was in jeans, when he saw me walking to my car he actually ran after me. They can keep 'em.
