We have one set of Hargett Precision lower VCs for sale
$300 for the set, normally $335 for 993 turbo lowers

Hey FD, I plan to replace the LVC's this summer. Planned on using OEM (plastic)> What are the advantages of this particular set, or billets in general? Thanks.

Some folks think that the frequent leaking of LVCs is due to warpage of the plastic covers rather than simply gasket degradation. Billet examples would prevent this from happening.

I understand that part, but let's face it, OEM LVC are lasting +15 years with no issues. How much longer does a billet one last? Does it really matter in the end?

What about heat transfer? Is metal or plastic better?

Just more discussion points.

Yes, the debate can go on (and has) for a very long time

The bottom line is that you can use either.
The Billet covers are most often an aesthetic choice
