It may be using the standard NA slave instead of the sputnik version that our cars got to appease the nancy-boys with skinny legs. If it isn't that then you need to swap the slave which is a fun DIY if you have 4 elbows and xray vision.
BTW, you may want to change out those ugly seats. I will trade you my awesome regular seats for those crappy sport seats even up. I am just a really nice guy.

Just call me Nancy. I like the assisted clutch, especially with the higher-rate pressure plates used by the TT and even more by the aftermarket HD units. If your car has been converted to non-assisted, you will end up with a HUGE left leg. BTW, your car looks GREAT!

Great car! The "huge left leg" comment above made me laugh. I had a '69 GTO in high school that had a "heavy" clutch and my legs were always pretty strong. I was in the gym one day circa 1970 leg pressing about 440# on the Nautilus when the teacher/football coach walked by and said "How can a fat f**k like you leg press 440#? What a waste!"
Those were the days. I was 5'11" and about 180#. One of the fattest kids in my class of 454. And, nope, not everyone got trophies or even made the team. I think I liked that better. No, I'm sure I liked that better.
Anyhow, lovely car and gotta love those sport seats!
