Hey Brian,
Since you have a BFW in the back, are you going to change the front splitter to EVO 2 to balance out the downforce?

Dave;
Waiting for an"incidente" that may never happen es muy pusilanime.

I'm assuming here that a "BFW" is a Big F**king Wing, right? But it's really no bigger than El Guap's, it just sits higher up. It does produce more downforce true, but I don't believe like either the Evo 1 or 2 wings do. So I think I'm OK for now. Some, but not all original ClubSports used this same wing and splitter combo. I think an Evo 2 splitter would be overkill. But I'll put the suggestion down along with the one for bigger shoes and see.

Note to Dave: Scott's only given you half the old Latin quote here. The other half is "... but abandons the timid".

Yup on BFW.
I did not know the Latin quote. But El Guapo only speaks Spanglish.
I love Rennlist erudition.

^^ I'm shocked ... shocked! Guess it all depends on your upbringing and proper schooling. I, for one learned the meaning of "Audentes fortuna iuvat sed timidos relinquit" in Ranger School (late '67). They really believed in the proverb there. A lot of etiquette, proper manners and "couth" was taught as well, IIRC.

Thanks fella's. The club does seem to be growing, even tho some might call it The Knuckleheads'/Silly Buggers' Club.

I take it this is a track only setup? Why not a giant wing and evo (l or ll) front end? The downforce really does work and it looks the business

^^ Yep, it's a track only setup (at least for as long as I own it). Like you, I built the car the way I wanted it, which is the way things should be. What I wanted was a ClubSport, not an Evo so that's what I had built. Have I left something on the table in terms of track performance? Probably ... but I can live with that. Might make it a bit more challenging to drive, however and cause me to lose a couple of DE's! But at least I'll have an excuse.

Isn't it a bit more like "Welcome to the asylum; we've been expecting you."

^^ Well I do know Jimmy was expecting me, Felix. I felt obliged to let him know what I was doing. He responded that "blackie was destined to be a GT2" and that he "suspected the new buyer ... would go to the next step". I guess that means it wasn't my fault; it was just preordination at work here!
