How to change rear decklid shocks on TT?
My buddy just bought a 97 993TT and his hood and decklid shocks need replacing. I've volunteered to do it if he just buy them. I've done a few non TT already with ease, but looks like the TT engine compartment has no room to squeeze my arm through. What do I have to take off? That's for the help.

The rears are pretty easy, I thought the fronts were awful. |
isn't step 1 on any tt task "remove intercooler"?

Exactly what I was going to say....

The fronts are trivial IF you have a very long thin flat blade screw driver.
I think I did the rears without removing the intercooler, but I lost a lot of epidermis. |
Taking off the intercooler is really easy and fast. Don't forget to cover the intake opening... kinda nasty if you drop something down that hole.

This is another option to make the front easier. :)

My buddy will be the pole holding up the hood and lid, lol. When parts get in, the parts will fly off. Thx so the help.
