First I found myself having to hold the tail up by hand to work on the engine. Shortly there after the hood shocks also went bad. Fun little project, glad it's done

How much skin did you lose on your forearms doing the rears?

To avoid the skin loss, I removed the IC, engine heater/blower unit and the air filter housing. With those removed, it s not to difficult.

Scott, I don't know if you recall, but one time we had our cars out and parked side by side after a drive. Your engine fan came on after a few minutes and mine didn't. Up until that point I never even thought about it. So I had been trying to figure out why my fan would not come on to cool the engine after shut down. While I had the IC off, I looked in the fuse box on the left side of the engine compartment and low and behold, the fuse was blown. Not that that engine fan does much but now it works as it should.

The hood would have been even easier with one of these.

Scott: Glad you got that figured out.
I did my back deck without moving anything other than my shirt. Very masochistic.

BB993TT: That's a little Ghetto....
The front ones are easy peasy lemon squeezy, as long as you have a long skinny screw driver.

Maybe, but it works well, needs virtually no adjustment and weighs almost nothing.

Getting the little clip on is a bitch. Not bad once you master it though

I thought it was part of an old TV antenna.
That's an RS part?
Now I want one!

I am going to do the front and rear shocks also. I got heavy duty shocks for the rear decklid. I heard I should only replace one shock because two new heavy duty shocks will catapult the decklid open. Any truth to this?
