1996 993TT up for sale
I have enjoyed my 993TT but I have recently purchased another collector car and one of my toy cars has got to go. I am a little unsure as how to list it on Rennlist but will list it shortly on Autotrader as well. I did list it on ksl.com cars locally here in the Salt Lake City area.
Here is a brief description.
Basic info; Polar Silver with black interior and 72,670 miles. I am the 3rd owner and the last owner owned the car for over 13 years. No accident history or paint work and a clean title. The ubiquitous Porsche Turbo Twist hollow spokes have been replaced with the rare BB LM rims which are the early magnesioum centers. A few subtle modifications; Porsche 993TT S front spoiler, Rennline instrument trim rings and aluminum pedal set, clear bra, new top quality floor mats, Porsche brand clear front turn signals, Good tread on Bridgestone S-02A 225/40/18 & 285/30/18 tires. I have a set of RoW lowering springs but have not installed them or bought the Carnewell Bilsteins. The existing shocks are Sachs. Enough miles on the car to not feel afraid to drive it and put some miles on it unlike some low mileage garage queens.
I am asking $46K.

I tried to list it at a fair price without unrealistic expectations. Another little error, my camera date stamped the photos as 2009 but were actually just taken end of april 2010. Need to change the camera date I guess. Also, my recently purchased "collector" car has just been shipped.

That is an aftermarket GT2 type front splitter that fits on a widebody front bumper. FVD perhaps?
Also, those wheels look like E88s, not LMs.
Regardless, pretty nice car.

what did I buy?
Receiver asks the questions "what did I buy". Well, to tell the truth, no one in the USA would know the model as it is a BMW. But if you are on this list from Germany or perhaps England you may know what the BMW model is. Generally, this models means squat in the USA.
It is a 1982 Alpina e24 (coupe) B7S. Alpina made just 30 of this model, 10 of which are known to exist today. I bought #25 of 30. It is a 1982 3.5 liter 330hp single turbo. These cars rarely come up for sale..maybe every 5-7 years.
I am sure I get more "thumbs up" with the 993TT.

Thank you for pointing out the rims are BBS e28s. I did see that some E28 magnesioun centers were listed used for about $3500 2 years ago. Also thanks for identifing the front splitter. I had hoped it wasn't so obvious that I am a Porsche "newbie"
So how do I list my catr on Rennlist classifieds?
