What if I told you I was painting it neon green and putting chrome spinners on it?

Just make sure to wire the neon lights under it correctly.

You should see how it looks when I get the hydraulics jumping on the front end.

UserA, congrats on the new car! You owe your father BIG TIME! Father's Day is next month, so remember he just drove your new baby across country for you! Heck, he deserves a Mother's Day present too! LOL!!

Agreed, but he has called me 100 times already telling me what a great time he is having. He says that he has never had anyone give him so many thumbs up in his life. He has been stopping in little towns in between the cities and the parked car draws a crowd 1/3 of the time.

I am going to seriously regret not making the time to do the trip with him, but duty calls.

Congrats on the purchase. Welcome to the best part of the forum. Remember to always have a level head when driving your new toy. These cars must be respected 100% of the time. Stay safe and enjoy in good health. Post some pics as soon as you can. Best Regards

This thing is frighteningly fast and beyond what I expected. The interior looks 10K miles old and there is literally not a single cosmetic issue on the exterior. I have basically driven it for two days straight and found many excuses to visit the garage.

The only two issues are an enormous Amp/woofer thingy in the trunk that will need to remove and it appears to dump the boost on full WOT. I am guessing it is either a stuck wastegate or diverter valve. If I feather the throttle up to .8 bar and keep it there it stays on, but if I just mash it it spools up and then drops giving me a feeling of almost losing traction as the power drops.

Two observations from the 97 993C2S to this -
Clutch is sooooooo light comparatively. I almost pushed it through the floor pan it had so little resistance.

Rear seat foot wells are much shallower. Boys who loved the backseat before were crammed in. Is that a 96-97 thing or a C2S to Turbo thing?

Sale price was 44K which was what we agreed to after the leakdown.

One question, how on earth do you get used to the power?
